Jon and his family have recently moved to the Waikato and has joined the team as the Assistant Pastor. Born and raised in South Africa, Jon has had the privilege of living in various countries but has called New Zealand home since 2020. 
Drawing from many years in the camping industry, as well as having a BA degree from Moody Bible institute, Jon is excited to connect with young and old from all walks of life and discuss the important questions.  Jon is keen on taking steps to move ever closer to his life looking like that of Jesus’ and for those around him to join him in doing the same for themselves.
Jon believes that God has called him and his family to minister in NZ, which includes understanding the role Māori and that of the Treaty plays, for many in NZ to come to faith.
In his down time, he plays computer games, boards games or enjoys playing any sport with a team of people.
