Jonathan took on the role of Lead Pastor at Northgate in 2020 after serving as the Senior pastor of a church in Cambridge for 11 years. 
Prior to becoming a pastor, Jonathan worked as a Senior Crown prosecutor and as a lawyer protecting the rights of children and young people.
Jonathan is passionate about taking people deeper in their relationship with Jesus and equipping believers to take a message of hope and transformation into their community. Jonathan also loves opportunities to disciple and mentor the next generation of leaders in the church and encouraging other people to do the same. 
Jonathan and his wife Fiona have three adult children. In his spare time, Jonathan loves to impress his family and friends with his Southern style barbecue, watching American Football, reading theology and the occasional space opera novel.
